We watched a video tutorial about stem and leaf plots and then practiced making several stem and leaf plots ourselves.

Language Arts: In the Revealers we read Sickologists. We discussed author's style because he included a paragraph with misspelled words in order to make the "student" writing more realistic.
Social Studies: Map work on Mexico. We used the Atlas and the internet to find examples of land and water terms in Mexico in preparation of our study of Mexico.
Mod 8: We had a team meeting to celebrate students of the month and birthdays. We also celebrated our end to the egg drop.
